Thor Posted May 27, 2006 Share Posted May 27, 2006 This has been loooong way coming but finaly did the rigt thing. Have tryed USB varius types, but not realy working. Found out here on the formum that I have a mini pci in my Acer 1525. Went out and bought a Dell 1350 mini pci and it works like a charm(1450 works 2 or so thay say). Had problem with the wep key and found out do to system bug you have to enter your code as hex and then it work. Had to edit the info plist to add the dev id did not see a thing before that. p.s Bought a 20" IMAC to day, I must say it's the real thing. Discostu2120 Posted May 27, 2006 Share Posted May 27, 2006 I just got wireless working today too. Picked up a gigabyte gn-wiag02 for $21. It works beautifully, WEP works too. Didn't have to edit any device id's, it worked right right from the start. vrunner Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 I bought that card a few days ago. Didn't work with Jas 10.4.6. Using some kexts from the Myzar 10.4.5 iso gets the driver to load successfully, but I can't configure the card. Am going to do a clean install 10.4.5 now and see if it works.
