Installation Issue

Evening folks.

 

I installed OS X on PearPC, then taking that image (3gb) and burning it to a DVD. I then installed Darwin onto my laptop. I setup ditto on darwin and ditto PearPC installation to my Darwin installation. Before I burned my image, I added the patched CoreGraphics, kexts, and modified Rosetta daemon.

 

There have been a few ideas, one, since I have an ATI video card that it may be locking up when it was trying the drivers.. I removed all of the ATI drivers.. didn't help.

 

Any Idea's?

 

On the side note:

 

I have had this running before, albeit a different way. I have wanted to try this whole PearPC bit but I will not touch VMWare, for a number of reasons. The machine I am installing it on will run it.

 

Watching it boot on PearPC shows that the exact place it fails is before loading the GUI. It even states that it is loading loginwindow, but after that it only shows a couple of resolving issues (localhost) and then nothing.

 

Of course, after this, the system is unusable, since if you shutdown at this point the system is hosed.
