ik_ben_Mark
I have an IBM S50 and I want to install OSX86 on it. I have tried 3 DVD's. Kalyway 10.5.2, iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6, iAtkos 5i. With the Kalyway disc I could get to the installation part, but somewere it stops and gives me the following error: The installationprogram can't install some files in '/volumes/OSX' (or something like that, the message was in dutch). With the other two I can't go pass the Apple logo on the start.. Here some spec's of the computer (more in the text file in the attachment): Inel Celeron 330 (2.66GHz) MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3 chipset: Intel i865P/PE/G/i848P southbridge: Intel 82801EB (ICH5) LPCIO SMSC Memory: 2x 512MB DDR (PC3200) Intel 82865G Graphics Controller HDD: ST3120023A (IDE) Can someone help me with this? I'm a noob with OSX86. I have read alot but I guess not enough? I hope it will work on this computer! ik_ben_Mark
Can this be caused because I tried to install it on a FAT32 partition? I couldn't reformat it to HFS or HFS+ using the prompt commands in windows or by using partitionmagic (there was no option for hfs/hfs+/af) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/183682-installing-osx-on-ibm-s50/#findComment-1259209 Share on other sites
