gamerman315 Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 So I figured this might be a long shot but has anyone had any luck installing OS X 10.5.X? I have searched through the forums and atanasko has appeared to have successfully installed it on this laptop. On the wiki http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...lite_P105-S9722 it has a little bit of information. with the same information in this thread http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...d&start=200 Anyways I have attempted to install Kalyway 10.5.1 onto my laptop after downgrading the BIOS firmware to 4.2. I have tried a variety of different customizations within the install. Everytime the install succeeds but upon reboot I get a black screen with a flashing underscore cursor in the top left. Has anyone else experienced this issue or know a workaround? I am having to install Leopard because a class I have this semester requires us to do some Iphone development. Thing is in order to develop you have to have 10.5.6 or higher to work. So my next question is even if I get this working will it be possible to upgrade to 10.5.6? and if so how?
