deloreanrocks
When i put the DVD in the drive, it boots and put me at the darwin boot screen where I hit enter to Install or -v for options, etc. I hit enter and it starts to load for a second, and then the computer reboots itself... it did this with an old ideneb tiger dvd i had lying around too.. am i better off grabbing someones retail DVD (friend has one) and trying the mod to install retail? any ideas why it keeps rebooting itself? vilpostus
Hi! any ideas why it keeps rebooting itself? I guess you should check your BIOS settings. Read this: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=78016 about BIOS settings. Now about am i better off grabbing someones retail DVD (friend has one) and trying the mod to install retail? Considering your system specs., I'D STRONGLY RECOMMEND doing vanilla install. It is vanilla install capable. So read this http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=127330 or http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=173651 and http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=128274 the last one and the first one are recommended. If any question, do search the forum first. Good luck!
