flbobo
Hey, i found out that something like was possible like 2 days ago and read through alot of the guides and went through alot of the threads here and decided to try it out, considering my system hardware is "new" i thought it would go smoothly but Kalyway 10.5.2 just throws me into the kernel panic and i recently downloaded ideneb 1.5.1(10.5.7 retail) and im looking for some help with installing ideneb 1.5.1 cpu spec: Processor: AMD Athlon 7750 black edition dual-core (compatible with sse1,sse2,sse3, and sse4A) socket am2+ (940) memory: 2x2gb Mushkin PC2-6400 DDR2 motherboard: Biostar TA790GX 128m Vid Card: NVIDIA geforce 9800GT and i current have windows 7 ultimate x64 installed. has anyone gotten an install with similar specs? i get this when i run with -x or something like that Waiting on <dict ID="0"><key>IOProviderClass</key><string ID="1">IOResources</string><key> IOResourceMatch</key><string ID="2">boot-uuid-media</string></dict> now idk if that part is supposed to take long, ill be honest i didnt let if go more then 5min on that part because for one im kinda impatient and it never takes long to boot something on my comp because ive used linux before and it boots real fast. but then again im thinkin that this leopard is supposed to take longer. If anyone can give me some clue on what i can try or tell my if my hardware can support leopard. forgot to mention, i wanted to completly replace windows with leopard then update to snow leopard, then just use a program like VMware or bootcamp to install windows of my choice so i still have it. Possible? let me know please Thanks in advance. Play with the settings in your bios.. I had the same problem till I clicked around.. now I can boot right up in either Windows 7 or OSx.. A stupid legacy usb setting was hanging me up getting the same result as you.. I just disabled it in the bios.. My setup is almost like yours...
