amdprophet Posted May 24, 2006 Share Posted May 24, 2006 I had the same problem with my Opteron 144 when it was at 1.8 GHz. It said it was 3.0 GHz. Since then, I've overclocked it to 2.9 so it's basically true now . I can't remember why it happens, it doesn't affect performance though.
