mwdmac
I am trying to install iDeneb 10.5.7 on the following hardware: GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8GHz G.SKILL 4GB DDR2 1066 EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 512MB 250 GB Seagate Barracuda IDE I am getting a kernel panic when after a few minutes of attempted installation after the customization section. I know there are a lot of these requests around here, but if someone could look at the image I've attached and just let me know what they think is going on, it would be greatly appreciated. I have enabled ACHI in the BIOS and attempted to choose the drivers as best as I can under customization. Not sure about the fixes, but I've gotten the same error regardless of whether I try to customize. It starts out looking like a memory error, but the backtrace mentions ATA controllers or something. Thank you for any help you can give.
cap737
So do you have an IDE drive or a SATA drive? I know that the OS doesn't recognize my PATA IDE burner when I use mine.
