hellspawn
Hi! I received a bunch of MKV files with 1080p video and DTS sound. Since I still only have a CRT TV, I wouldn't need the high resolution. Besides, my MacBook's fan becomes quite noisy when I play these files. I would want to reencode these files to DVD resolution, but keep the DTS sound. How can I do this? I tried handbrake, but this also reencodes the sound and I cannot select "AC3 passthrough" when setting it up. hellspawn
It's me again I now decoded the MKV file into separate audio and video tracks using iMkvExtract. I then used ffmepgX to recode the video to a smaller resolution. What I'd need now would be a tool to assemble all tracks again in one MKV file. Any hints what I could use?
