I search for houres now and can't find any(good) solutions!!!My problem: Still Waiting For Root Device error after I installed MACOSX 10.4.6 , the error is famous I know.. My specs: Pentium 4 3,4 ghz 2 dvd-drives 1 SATA Seatage 200gb disk 1 gb ram ATI X600 256MB Are there any solutions for my problem? I tried: - untie my dvddrives - Set my SATA disk on primary slave but (tip on this forum but just for IDE drives but i give it a try!) - Format my SATA disk 100 times hehe.. theturtle Posted May 27, 2006 Share Posted May 27, 2006 Sjoske , I am experiencing the same problem myself , i had a fully working 10.4.5 install and decided i'd try updating to 10.4.6. Now it won't boot to single user to finish the install.
