Aric Wilisch
I'm having a problem with installing the latest install of iDeneb. I installed ideneb 10.5.5 and managed to get virtually everything working. However it seems that between ideneb 10.5.5 and 10.5.7 all of the patch items have changed. I used to select a Sigmatel 9200 as the sound driver, but it doesn't work on this version. So instead of re-installing the entire system to keep trying different sound patches, is it possible to switch kexts without having to re-install? Any help is greatly appreciated. This is the only thing I'm having trouble with on this install. vilpostus
You may remove sound kext's that doesn't work from /System/Library/Extensions/ folder. Then install different one via OSx86Tools an so on, till you find the one that is working. An update install note. Do not select the same patches you have installed before then updating, or you will get the mess with drivers.
