britishcolumbia
Then try -v -f cpus=1 maxmem=2048 platform=X86PC -legacy Hey, thanks for all your help, but I am going nowhere with this. I just looked up some USB fixes and I found that there are no patches, and the audio and networking dont work. Thanks again, but there is no point without those essential things missing out of the OS. I assume you are referring to the failed/only partially successfull attempts of others to install OS X on the same ASUS M2N-68-AM MB MOBO that you have found....? If so, sorry.... If so, sorry.... Well it was a good experiment, and nobody else has had any success with the M2N68-AM. I think if i really wanted to do this, i would just make a exact replica of hardware that is in a "real" Mac. Good luck, Jack Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/181177-osx86-on-a-amd-system-help/page/2/#findComment-1233539 Share on other sites

Good luck, Jack Yes......IF at some point you decide to.......go with Intel CPU and Intel chipset MOBO......to allow almost "full retail" installation....... I have nForce MOBO that is fine with Windows and Linux, so cannot justify junking it just to have an easy life with OSx86......besides I have too much time & too many brain cells spent on getting nForce chipset + Intel CPU MOBOs running OS X.....
