carucio Posted August 20, 2009 Share Posted August 20, 2009 Dear all, I'm trying to install iAtkos v7 on a GIGABYTE GA-E7AUM-DS2H with the disks configured for ahci. I calculated the md5 checksum for the ISO and got the right one, burned the image on 2 different DVDs with different readers and always got the "Cannot validate 10.5.7 package" error during installation. So decided to create a bootable USB stick with a real mac (restore image + osx86 tools efi fix).. the system boots without problems but the i get the same "Cannot validate 10.5.7 package". So I think there's no doubt this is not a media-related error.. do you have any idea what could be causing this? Thanks a lot!!
