JamesArcher
No sorry......its designed for SSE3......us with SSE2 have to use a patched kernel so as you can imagine if u need a patch for SSE2 its not going to run on SSE Sorry Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18055-work-on-sse-cpu-no-sse2/#findComment-117586 Share on other sites

JamesArcher
i kno that on the 10.4.6 patched dvd the SSE2 patch is when u install the disk you need to customise the installation and choose the SSE2 patches for your CPU (Intel or AMD) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18055-work-on-sse-cpu-no-sse2/#findComment-117839 Share on other sites

SuperJudge
From my past experiences, the installer fails with a Kernel Panic very quickly. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18055-work-on-sse-cpu-no-sse2/#findComment-118222 Share on other sites
munky
No version of Mac OS X will run natively on a processor without at least SSE2. You can run it within QEmu which can be configured to emulate an SSE2 processor, but afaik its so slow its unusable. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18055-work-on-sse-cpu-no-sse2/#findComment-118233 Share on other sites
