sm01 Posted August 15, 2009 Share Posted August 15, 2009 I have my Atheros AR5007 working through airport just fine (had to install the 2.1.2 IO80211Family.kext file, reboot with -f, and use Kinsmac to make the networks show up through Airport). I'm having some problems that I'm wondering if there are any answers to. 1. If I don't boot with -f, Kinsmac and Airport will freak out, and not work or do anything. If I boot with -f, Kinsmac and Airport will function properly. 2. I have to use Kinsmac to make Airport find any networks. Is there a way to just use Airport instead of Kinsmac? Not a big deal... Would be nice to not have to do this every time I wanna connect to a network. Those two things aren't that big of a deal, but if anyone knows any fixes, please post! I am trying to work this you vary days, sadly I am not obtaining success, and interesting to emphasize if somebody has a KEXT that it functions without using the KisMAC.
