How Clean is iDeneb 10.5.6?

I have a iDeneb 10.5.6, I cannot get Vanilla to work for whatever reason, it used to work on my Acer 5920g, but on my desktop it doesn't load it either gets stuck at the spinning beachball, or before even that the gray circle which never stops.

 

But I wanted to know, how "vanilla" ideneb 10.5.6 is.

I install without any patches or anything.

 

If I install 10.5.8 update for this, will it be a "100%" Vanilla system? (Except for decrypt, etc)
