I managed to install kalyway 10.5.2 onto my computer with specs:

Asus P5B

Intel e6600

Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS

At this point I'm wondering how I can go about updating it to 10.5.8. Do I need another kalyway install? Can I use ideneb or do I require a 10.5.3 combo update? Any help would be appreciated guys.

A combo update can get u from 10.5.x to 10.5.8. Therefore, all you need is a combo update to 10.5.8.

Hope this helps!

Thats almost impossible Combo Update given by Apple to 10.5.8 will RUIN everything trust me I have tried it.

Kernel Panic is the least of ur worries since when you will run the update it will recognise that your Mac is not actually a MAC and then even if it installs all the kernals that you are using will get outdated and it will stop running.

I think that the only way to do this is Install 10.5.3 Combo update with Kalyway Kernals and then 10.5.4 Delta Release from Apple which will be worryless and then comes 10.5.5 which may give you some problem so all you have to do is find a good and best worked tutorial on how to update to 10.5.5 and then 10.5.6 will be easy next will come 10.5.7 where things will be a lot easeir and update to 10.5.8 thts all

Enjoy

Have fun
