sensimeon Posted August 14, 2009 Share Posted August 14, 2009 Hello all, After reading around I wanted to share what I did to get my asus p5b deluxe to boot up. Keep in mind im still having problems with Network, but it boots and runs with full video Specs Asus p5b deluxe external usb sata drive wd 320gig hd xfx 7600gt wusbc5gc for network first i enabled sata to enahnced with ahci enabled in bios then i changed the jmicron to enabled with ahci used external dvd to boot. i formated my hd to MBR with os journaled i choose the following options ideneb essentia then i used the nvkush for video usb fix and vanilla kernel any advice to get my audio working would be great , i believe its the AppleAzilla pkg. I will be updating this tutuorial more and more once i have the system to %100 and have my xbench up until then, any tips would be great and feel free to ask any quetsions!! sorry for my bad english *EDIT* Audio works if using the Asus p5b deluxe 100% package by mistco. just select the audio and you're in. i clicked to disable the firewire option in the install, anyone know how to do undo that? network. d3t0x Posted August 27, 2009 Share Posted August 27, 2009 i also have p5b-deluxe (non wifi) but i am using a retail vanilla install 10.5.6 retail > 10.5.7 update > 10.5.8 i use: Marvell 8056 built in network using a slightly modified "yukon.kext".... 7600gt nvidia thru efi gfx-string...
