breh
So I downloaded iDeneb 10.5.7, burnt the image, popped the disk in and restarted. As of now my hard drive is ~100gbs for a windows partition and 90ish gbs of unallocated space. The disk boots sucessfully and all goes well till it's time to choose a disk space.. unable to select anything (read: blank) I went to disk manager or what not and attempted to create a new partition. Unfortunately in the event of creating two partitions the manager tells me it will have to format the entire drive (which I'd prefer not to do). I'm rather confused right now and I can't find many answers via searching. I would like to install OSx86 along side my existing XP installation. So if anyone could offer some insightful advice I'd appreciate it. Thanks specs: DFI ultra-d nf4 opteron 165 sata hdd yeah Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/179561-install-ideneb-1057-with-existing-xp-partition/ Share on other sites

raizo4ever
It reaches the point where it identifies and displays the WLAN driver, displays the MAC address and then hangs at this point. This is with a 10.5.1 KALYWAY. I have tried installing numerous versions even the 10.5.6 Retail Version but to no avail. All of them freeze at this particular point. Can anyone help me? Any help will be welcomed. I am using a Compaq Presario B1255 TU. raizo4ever
It's working pretty fine in Safe Boot. But the Sound and Mouse Pad do not work. Apart from that my resolution does not fit the screen.
