VCH888
Hi guys, All's in the title, I can't get sound on my mobo GA-EX58-UD3R (Realtek ALC888). Anyone can help me for this? I searched a lot but I've never succed Thanx!! PS: Sorry for my bad english @lefandegta4 Try this Series of LegacyHDA.zip. I made ALC888 LegacyHDA.kext for my brother's EP45-UD3LR. I think Gigabyte's Pin Defaults of ALC888 and ALC889a are the same. You can install LegacyHDA.kext and HDAEnabler.kext into /Extra/Extensions (if you're using Chameleon V2 boot loader) or /System/Library/Extensions by using KextHelper.app for installing any kext into /S/L/E. LegacyHDA.kext ( can be any name) should use with vanilla AppleHDA.kext. It is like cosmetic. I hope my kext will solve your problem.
