WeirdEars
I have just bought a brand new PC and I am trying to get OSx86 running on it, but it gets stuck in a reboot loop. From what I hear, the i7 should be compatible with OSx86. So far I've tried iPC, iATKOS 5i and iATKOS v7 but none of them work. Is there any others I should try? EDIT: I've just tried XxX 10.5.6 and that didn't work either. How do you get OSx86 to install on the Voodoo kernel? What do I type in the F8 setup options? (Sorry if I've completely misunderstood how the Voodoo kernel works or something) EDIT 2: I got iATKOS v7 installed by adding: busratio=20 cpus=1 fsb=133 in the F8 menu and now I'm stuck at the Apple logo after installing. Can anyone help out with this? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/179468-reboot-loop-core-i7-with-12gb-ram/ Share on other sites
