NVKush wont load from EFI partition or loads with no QE/CI

I finally got an EFI partition setup going, and everything is working great but CI/QE. Previously i had install NVKush in my /S/L/E folder and got 100% functionality but this time i extracted the kext from the NVKush package an put it in my efi partition. I get the correct resolution, but no CI/QE.

Running kextstat in Terminal shows that NVKush isnt loaded for some reason, though all my other EFI partition kexts (JMicronATA, VoodooHDA, etc) are loaded fine. Is there something different i should do for the gfx kexts?

After rebooting a few times i check Kextstat again to see that NVKush is indeed loaded now, but still no QE/CI. It doesnt seem that NVKush makes a difference at all, despite working when installed to S/L/E
