Pipe G
Hey im trying to install leopard on my old creative slix, it has a pentium 4 , it all installed great, but at the restart im getting a forbidden like logo on the top of the apple. A long time ago i had a problem with my current hackintosh, when i was trying to install, the problem was that at the booting moment it just kept restarting, finally a genius here appeared and told me that i had to install a voodo kernel i think and this seatbelt fix, because the processor was too old and couldnt support SSE3 or SSE2 i dont remember, anyway could someone refresh my memory and tell me what that necessary kernel was?? please, thanks! BTW the dude that told me that the previous time was a dude with a monkey on his avatar, i just cant remember the name, thanks! Gujal
Orangutan is an Ape, not a monkey! You need the Voodoo kernel which does SSE3 emulation on SSE2 processors. All P4 CPUs should support atleast SSE2 and Prescott core upwards SSE3.
