Marclh Posted August 9, 2009 Share Posted August 9, 2009 You should be able to use a retail install using the boot-132 method since it does use a ICHx southbridge, but im not sure about the graphics card, wireless or sound would work. You would have to research on these forums for kexts (drivers) for the peripherals, if there is any. The main hardware required to boot OS X, is a compatible southbridge, most intel boards work with a ICH chipset, which is mostly supported by OS X, but you may need a driver for it. The CPU is another important part, if its intel, you should be able to use the original kernel. Touchpad and keyboard need drivers if they are using a PS/2 connection instead of USB. Just to let you know, it would be very hard to get everything to work properly, sleep, wireless, even the ethernet port, and the video card.
