jessa_jr
Hi All, I have a dell d630 laptop. I installed iatkos 5i 10.5.5 and all is working fine 99%. I update it to 10.5.7 using the prepatch-apple combo update 10.5.7-post patch. The installation is fine but now the wireless d630 bluetooth module is not working with an x mark. I want now to update it to 10.5.8. Dont know how, do you have an advice? How will I also make the bluetooth work or if im going to reformat it again and before update to 10.5.7, how will I back up first the driver before I install it. Or from the update do it automatically backup my driver so I can retrieve again my bluetooth driver. Any help will be gladly appreciated. Thanks. Beerkex'd
If you're lucky they will work if you reinstall them with kexthelper or OSX86Tools. If you're not lucky, installing the older drivers will break more than they fix. It's better to find a solution that makes the new, updated drivers work with your hardware.
