Hi all, just to share my experience, I own a v1.4 iDeneb 10.5.6, yesterday I ran a Software Update to 10.5.7 directly with the program included into the OSX, after downloading and installing the pc has been rebooted.

On the first reboot the system gone up but not showing the login screen and automatically done a new reboot, at this time I hit F8 and so the boot: prompt showed up, I typed -v and the boot continued, this case I did succesfully enter to the OSX as usual (login screen).

The next reboot doesn't need to hit the F8 key and boot as usual.

Hope this helps somebody.

Now I see that there's a new update to 10.5.8, I'll try to do also this via Software Update due now I've a well 10.5.7 OSX running.
