diafebus
Hi guys! I've got a little question for you. I want to buy a Mac Pro 8 core, with Radeon HD 4870, 8GB Ram, 1TB HardDrive to produce Music. Then I've got that if I buy it to Spain apple store i cost about 5400$=3600€ and if I buy in america it cost about 3600$=2500€ so... 1700$=1200€ difference The question is... I'm able to replace the power supply of mac pro from a 120V PSU to 220V PSU? and how much it will cost? thank you guys!! cbreaker
Almost all power supplies in computers these days are able to handle both 110 and 220. You should check the manual for the Mac first but my guess is the only difference between the machines is going to be language and the power supply cable. Lightmaster
You don't need to change the PSU at all.If the power grid runs at 50Hz (and it should) all you need is a power plug adapter from US to the european one.
