CrimsonAngel
I'm trying to install OSX on an old computer with a Pentium 4 processor. Every time I tried installing the ideneb 1.5.1 the boot would hang at appleintel8254XEthernet: Ethernet address then a bunch of numbers I used the Acronis boot disc to wipe the hard drive and left it without a partition. When trying to install ideneb this time I get a kernel panic after 5 tries I use the ipc build kernel panic then I use leo4all 4.1 and it boots. It is currently installing. Well I finally got leo4all installed without any hitches with the speedstep 9.2.0 kernel when trying to update both the voodoo 9.5.0 kernel and the Anv 9.6.0 fail. I managed installing the Qoopz 9.7.0 kernel but I cant find a seatbelt kext to go with it (would they be any other kexts needed beside the seatbelt kext) Then I tried updating to 10.5.7 with idenebs combo update, the system no longer booted I couldnt even get to the part where I would type code it simple went to a straight black screen when booted in verboose. I've just install iATKOS on my p4, and these are the problems i'm facing: 1. Bootloader doesn't work, have to start OS X using the install disk and typing rd=disk0s1 (I think that could be, because P4 is SSE2 ONLY) 2. Drivers won't install. I've tried to install drivers for my hardware: It's just not working.
