TomCom
You'd better buy a 600W modular PSU. You don't need that much power nor do you want all those useless cables in your chassis. It's bad for the airflow. Corsair would be my choice too. The HX 620W or the new HX 750W if you really want the overkill device. For your RAID, try it with single or dual-platter HDDs, depending on the capacity. It's cooler and more reliable—at least if you go for WD or Seagate HDDs, Samsung may be tempting, but it's not the same quality at all. hobhayward
Seagate has a nice two platter 1tb drive with some really impressive benchmark speeds (http://www.maximumpc.com/article/reviews/seagate_barracuda_720012_1tb). I picked an oem one up for $80 shipping on amazon a couple weeks ago. have to make sure you get the version 12 though. KariNeko
4) quiet machine You should go back to Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 CPU Cooler instead of the Cooler Master V8 Heatsink, check out the reviews on the net.
