Here is the model I managed to extract from OSX86Tools: 00:1b.0 Audio device [0403]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller [8086:27d8] (rev 01) Thank you for helping!!! If you figure it out let me know. I'm guessing its going to be some code in the apple boot. reeg Posted August 13, 2009 Share Posted August 13, 2009 Awesome! Thanks for the link guys! Fixed my audio. Only thing is, the mute button on my touch pad keeps turning itself on. I'll turn it off, but 1 minute later it's back on. Any thoughts? reeg Posted August 13, 2009 Share Posted August 13, 2009 After installing the one listed here and getting it to work, the only problem was the machine would auto mute every 60 seconds. With the help of the search, I found this thread with an updated installer. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...hp/t101582.html After a reboot, BAM! no more auto mute. However, the headphone jack still won't work. I can plug something in, but the sound still comes out of the notebook speakers.
