But every now and then I get the you must restart your computer on boot up. No matter how many times I do restart always get the message. The only way I can get pass is to do another reinstall. or am I missing something? asap18 Posted May 19, 2006 Share Posted May 19, 2006 hey im not sure if it was the same problem but right when it got to the apple screen it would tell me to restart. Then I just turned off my comp for a while and hen next time it was gone. dont know if this will help. G4case Posted May 19, 2006 Share Posted May 19, 2006 it could very well be that OSX86 does not like part of your RAM modules. I had this problem of kernel panics too but this ended altogether after removing one of the RAM modules, I used trial and error to find out which one.
