i tried , still got this error and cannot set the mouse T_T

I hate to say it, but you may have a backup and rebuild in your future... If you applied my PPC restore pkg and still can't use it then something else has gone wrong.

I have a MBP, I updated it, I see the selection for two finger clicking, but I'm new to mac, how exactly do you use this feature ?

Well, if you've got the clicking turned on (tap the trackpad to click), then you simply tap two fingers on the trackpad, and the context menu ought to appear. If you don't have the tap click turned on, then you hold two fingers on the trackpad and use the click button.

I've been using it and hate it. It works and carrys over through reboots and sleeps, but it's response is often much slower than the control+click way. Anyone else notice this?

Well, same here!

I actually thought that this option will be added for the actual button and not an optional tap. But anyway, a good addition but just doesn't work properly.. something's wrong with its sensitivity and it doesn't always respond... :poster_oops:

Have you unchecked "Ignore accidental input"? That can make it ignore you sometimes thinking it's a mistake.

Mine became much more responsive after that.

Hi guys,

I have read that new BootCamp have a driver for macbook / pro which behaves under windows as following:

left hand ide button as Left button and right hand side as Right (Secondary click) button.

I was wondering if somebody is able to reverse this functionality and bring it to Mac OSX ?

Thanks for your replies.

Here's my Keyboard preference pane. Hopefully some of those with 15" MBPs can use it.

I´m a german mac user. i´ve tried your extension installer "kexs.zip" with my 12" powerbook and system 10..4.8. after installing i´ve got this message: "you can´t use the system extension aapplekeyboard.ktex" and i can not use the keyboard anymore. after deleting the extension "appleadbkeyboard.ktex" there is the no message after restart, but the keyboard is not working.

now, what can i do to make the keyboard work in the wright way?

thanx a lot

What OS are you using, Leopard? Because Leopard has 2 finger context menu on a PowerBook. I'm still looking for a way to add 2 finger context menu tap to a PowerBook running Tiger.

Any thoughts?

If I double-click, it tells me it can't be installed because it already is. I could replace the original with this one, is that what you did?

If I replace mine (the original) with that file and restart, nothing happens.
