Specs:

Mobo: Asus M2A-VM

Processor: AMD 64 X2 3800+

Video: Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT 512 Mb

HDD: 80 Gb IDE (for leopard)/400 Gb SATA (windows...)

Optical Drive: LG DVD-RW Dual Layer LightScribe - IDE

2 Gb DDR2

Ok, after several (15) failed tries to install Leopard and having almost all common errors (still waiting for root device, "you need to restart your computer" message, automatic restart on boot, black screen with spinning cursor.. etc) i finally managed to get leopard FULL working. I tried iDeneb, Kalyway, Leo4All, iPC and none of them worked.

I succeeded using XxX x86 10.5.6 universal fnal.

I had to disable USB legacy support in bios and set SATA to AHCI.

In customize menu i chose Voodoo kernel 9.5.0, AppleATIATA (for chipset), New ALC drivers>ALC 883 3 ports (audio), Realtek R1000 drivers (for lan), Open HaltRestart for powermanagement and some of the available optional tools (OSX86tools, Kext helper..etc).

My video card did not work with NVinject or NVkush, or NVdarwin, got it working using this guide http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=69855 .

The final result:

Video - fully working.

Audio - headphones work, mic work, on my 5.1 sistem only the subwoofer and front speakers work (center and rear don't)

LAN - fully working, maximum download rate, safary it's amazing.

USB - fully working, very high transfer rate (i think better than windows  )

Optical Drive - Ok

Mouse (PS2) - Ok

Keyboard (PS2) - Ok

I updated iTunes and flash player without any problem. i installed Photoshop CS4 and Office:MAC, both work amazing.

Only one problem i found: in VLC i get no video only sound (.AVI, did not try other formats). in miro works but the quality it's bad. What could be the problem?

Hope this helps for any M2A-VM (worst mobo ever) user out there.
