A while ago I bought myself a macbook pro and I love it. My regular pc (which has better hardware specs and much more HD space) got into neglection untill I heard of mac os X being able to boot on a intel pc.

Unfortunately after days and days of searching and trying several disks I can't get it to work. I've also tried some optional kernel's and bootloaders. I am using the cpus=1 command which makes it possible to install mac os x and when booting it shows the circle animation (without cpus=1 just the apple shows up).

My specs are:

Asrock p45r2000-wifi

Intel q9550 (quadcore @2.83 GHZ)

8 GB ddr3 (Corsair Dominator I believe)

Club 3d (Ati) HD4850.

Do and of you have an idea what my problem could be? The hardware should be able to run it. If i check CPU-Z it says i can use the SSE 2, 3 and even 4.1.

I would appreciate it if you could help me out with my problem or even if you would just point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the late reply.

Im using a different mobo yet the same processor. I had the same trouble as you and the only solution was to disable the LAN in BIOS. After that all was fine I went the retail install using Boot 123.

Good luck
