sjorss
Hello! I was using the Voodoo Kernel, and after succes installing PC_EFI v10.1 I also want to have the Vanilla Kernel, After alot of search, I saw some Vanillia Kernels, but they were all quite old. After some search, I saw that iDeneb includes the Vanillia Kernel (V. 9.7.0) Hello! I was using the Voodoo Kernel, and after succes installing PC_EFI v10.1 I also want to have the Vanilla Kernel, After alot of search, I saw some Vanillia Kernels, but they were all quite old. After some search, I saw that iDeneb v1.5 includes the Vanillia Kernel (V. 9.7.0) So, I downloaded iDeneb, but I couldn't locate the kernel at all (only the ToH kernel, which I'm using now, but I can't Shut-down my PC...). My question: Can anyone upload of give a downloadlink of the Vanilla Kernel V9.7.0? Thanks! -Sjors Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/176512-vanilla-kernel/ Share on other sites

sjorss
That approves that I'm a noob. But I've currently installed the ToH kernel, and when I use the command uname -a I see alot of words, but also: Based on Voodoo :XNU, does that mean that the installation of the ToH kernel failed? Marclh
That means that the ToH kernel is based from the code of the voodoo kernel, but with some changes. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/176512-vanilla-kernel/#findComment-1209456 Share on other sites
