The specs are as follows: Core i7 Evga X58 Mobo (this one-> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813188039 ) 6 GB Corsair Dominator ram Biostar Ati Radeon 4890 300GB WD velociraptor LG Bluray and hd dvd disk drive, HP CD/DVD drive Is there any possibility of installing Osx86 on my computer? Well kaylway gives several lines of things which are loading, and it attemps to load something related to the firewire and stays in the same place a gives the error : still waiting for root device. Im real confused, any help would be great. Khan_Man Posted July 29, 2009 Share Posted July 29, 2009 I don't know what kernel Kalyway boots but you can't boot a vanilla kernel unless you have a 10.5.7 DVD. Seems to me there is a way to boot a voodoo kernel or alternate kernel on Kalyway. at the boot options I think U type in kernel=[name-of-kernel]. you'll have to do some research there.
