Acoole Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 Hi there, I'm new to the forums and I have a question, can I load a sound driver in safe mode, my computer comes up with a load of lines when I start up without safe mode(because i'm using a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400, i'm assuming) but loads fine in Safe Mode apart from that I can't hear anything. How do I enable sound in safe mode since most drivers are disabled and is there a fix for the ATI Mobility Radeon issue. Appreciate any support! Marclh Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 When you load into OS X (not in safe mode) does it eventually get to the login screen / desktop? If it is not loading into OS X, it is most likely a kernel panic, post a screenshot here. If it does eventually get to the desktop you are booting in verbose mode by default.
