rick86
I've tried searching for this, but didnt see anyone with similar results. So could someone PLEASE explain why I get these numbers in the System Profiler? These are the readings from my bios: Bus speed - 533Mhz Processor ID - F41 Clock Speed - 2.40GHz L2 Cache - 256KB System Memory Speed - 333Mhz And here is the screenshot in Mac osx86 10.4.4 Any thoughts are appreciated.... I'm not complaining its 3.6Ghz.... I'm just baffled... DrivinWest
It's not overclocked, it just reads wrong in the profiler. This is a known issue. My 3.0GHz P4 630 reads 3.07GHz in profiler, even when I overclock it or underclock it by +/- 400MHz. emike2k3
I'm running into the same issue with the 10.4.5 Myz ISO. When I pull up "About This Mac" it says it's a 2.93Ghz Celeron. When I go to the system profiler it says it's a 1.5Ghz Celeron.
