I tried to install OSX86 on my system for some time now. But i keep getting the "Still waiting for root device error" after each installation :S. I used the iDeneb 1.5.057 distribution and tried multiple configurations (kernels/drivers etc).. But still no luck. Do you guys have any advice?

My system configuration:

Gigabyte X48-DQ6

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500

Kingston HyperX 4GB DDR2 1066Mhz

Sapphire 4870X2

Lite-On iHAS120 20x DVDRW SATA

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio

Maxtor 160gb 7200rpm

Hauppauge WinTV HVR-4000 (FYI: I know that this one won't work but still plugged into my system)

Do i need to use another distribution? And more important: Is it possible to run OSX86 on this config?

What options did you use for iDeneb, then we can help you better, you should get iatkos v7, this is a good release.

Thank a lot for the tip! Installed it with iatkos v7 and it's working like a charm!!!

K the following options i selected:

ATI Driver

9.7.0 Kernel

SMBios-EFI

Apple SMBios-28

Realtek R1000

JMicron Sata/IDE

Only thing that isn't working is my soundcard (XFI Xtreme Audio).... Any tips about that component?

Thnx again!!!
