davalv
Has anybody ran into this? I'm running iATKOS_v7 (10.5.7) on an intel DG31PR main board. Everything runs great on 2Gb. or ram, when I install 4Gb. or ram the sound goe's away. In preferences the sound options are greyed out. I tried reinstalling sound drivers, still won't work. Remove the memory, back to 2Gb. reboot, sound works. Any ideas???? Thanks, Dave Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/175749-no-sound-after-memory-upgrade/ Share on other sites
alan6288
I have the same board, same problem. I simply went to intel and updated the bios. Works well. davalv
Well I tried the bios upgrade, then the system would not boot. Tried reloading OS, get the desktop but no mouse or keyboard. I did -v at startup and noticed USB error on a command string. Not sure how to fix this problem. Even tried PS/2 keyboard and mouse. The USB doesn't show device found when plugged in. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
