sito Posted May 16, 2006 Share Posted May 16, 2006 Hi, I have and Amd x2 3800 and it is recognized as 3,7 Ghz. I have Myz 10.4.5 . Is there anything i can do to get the cpu info right?? I know there is a topic somewere that talks about how to fix this problem, but i can't find it . And has anybody got its amd 2x 3800 without sttuter in Myz 10.4.5?if so, do you have your cpu info right?maybe it's a stupid question (i'm just trying to get rid of this sttuter and i've tried everything... ) Thank you. westep23 Posted May 16, 2006 Share Posted May 16, 2006 Try idlehalt=0 or cpus=1 at the boot prompt. And I dont think your cpuinf has anything to do with it. My X2 4400+ is reported as the same and my Celeron D 2.53Ghz is reported as 4Ghz. The problem is the syncing between the two cores. Try platform=x86pc cpus=1 idlehalt etc... but my os x session always terminates for a crash when doing intensive stuff My setup is nForce 4 / AMD64 X2 4200+ / 1 Gig DDR / X700 SE PCI-E any idea ?
