BenCarson
Hello, I have an Inspiron 1525 running XP and OSX, i have the xp bootloader set up to boot XP and OSX, so i can now disable the darwin bootloader, well id still like the darwin bootloader to be there, but ONLY after i selcect OS x on the XP bootloader. So id like to: 1: Power on Laptop 2: XP bootloader comes up first 3: If i select Windows XP, XP boots 4: If i select Mac OS X, then darwin bootloader loads up (well i have chameleon, but that wont affect it will it?) 5: Then i can boot into Mac through that, Bassically id like to use XP bootloader as default Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/175575-disable-darwin-bootloader-use-windows-bootloader-instead/ Share on other sites

Poco
Or you can go into single user by using -s and then: fdisk -e /dev/rdisk<disk#> flag <partition#> quit reboot So for example if my xp partition was on the first partition of the first disk: fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 flag 1 quit reboot iPoco Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/175575-disable-darwin-bootloader-use-windows-bootloader-instead/#findComment-1204064 Share on other sites
