First, my system specs are attached so that you guys can see what I need exactly. :)

So, I downloaded iATKOS 5i (with 10.5.5 version of MacOSX) and burned to a DVD.

Did all the work. Partitioning, installing the OS, etc.

The thing is that after it's installed, when my computer boots I can see up to the little dark gray apple on a gray background as if it was going to start the OS. But nothing happens.

Just as an observation, I have Vista installed in one of the partitions, but I am pretty sure that this is not the issue.

The question is, what things do I need to select when I click on the "Custom" buttom to select the drivers, etc?

I was going for this spec:

http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...lite_A135-S4527

But some of the things that it tells me to select, the menu doesn't have those...

So I try to select what it sounds like it...

Even though my computer is not that exact version and neither is my OS version, it's pretty close..

So can anybody give me some light please? =)

Thank you very much ;D

Something just happened! lol :D

I was checking the BIOS and I saw this item to "disable bit something" and I turned it on.

I remember reading about turning that option on somewhere.

Well, anyways, MacOSX booted up! But there is a problem

I could hear the little song and the video in the beginning, but I couldn't control the sound.

And when the intro video was over, I realized I couldn't move my mouse nor push any keyboard buttons.

So, what do you guys think I have to do?

Thanks! =)

If you want you can reinstall iAtkos but under customize deselect everything (inclusing the main system) then find the PS/2 drivers. I'm not sure which drivers are included on iAtkos but you can look in there for solutions for your audio, and network drivers. It is completely possible to install drivers after you have installed OSX. Most people do it.

To install kexts:

1) Place the kext in /System/Library/Extensions

2) Repair permissions using

sudo chown -R root:wheel /path
sudo chmod -R 755 /path

Thank you VERY much iPoco! I will do that...

Now, for the network drivers and audio drivers, do you know where I can find those drivers in the list on the osx86 website? Because they are the ones that I need.. I just don't know where to find them.

Thanks again for the support =)

Amazingly enough after installing the PS/2 drivers, everything worked flawlessly!

The wireless, audio, keyboard, mouse, etc...

Now, I am wondering if there is a way to increase the VRAM size through the Terminal?

It's only at 64MB.

Any idea here? =)
