Patrick Nosker Posted May 15, 2006 Share Posted May 15, 2006 I've looked around for a few days on this and couldn't find any successful help. IRC wasn't helpful either on this issue. My Audio Chipset: DEV: 7690 VEN: 8384 Hub: DEV: 27D8 VEN: 8086 I've tried modifying AppleHDA.kext, AppleAzaliaAudio.kext, as well as AppleAC97Audio.kext with no working solution. The most I can get is the volume bar appearing when I remove AppleHDA.kext from /extensions. Another side problem is getting core #2 enabled without having to set cpus=1 in com.apple.Boot.plist, but that's less important for now. Final problem is enabling full sleep support. System=acpi is enabled, but when I close my laptop lid, the power light blinks like it should, but when I press power to resume, the display remains blank even though the power light is solid.
