agusta
Hi guys....hope you can help me out with this one. So I installed iDeneb v1.4 without any issues on my AMD X2 HP laptop. After I decided to update my system to 10.5.7 with the iDeneb Combo Upgrade KIT 10.5.7 and the update went smooth. Now the problem is when I try to mount a DMG I am getting a kernel panic. I have searched on this website and google and found some solution but they all had mixed answers so please tell me if the following method is correct. When I had installed iDeneb v1.4, I had selected the seatbelt.kext fix from the installation DVD. There are various seatbelt.kext fix's on this website and others. Also, I had attempted to reinstall just the seatbelt.kext from the installation DVD after I had done the update to 10.5.7 but still no go, still getting kernel panic. Do I need a seatbelt fix for 10.5.7? Where can I get it from? Also, some people are saying I need system.kext and seatbelt.kext for the 10.5.7 version. Please help! Also, I am using Kernel 9.5.0/Voodoo. Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/175301-kernel-panic/ Share on other sites

mr_christer
the problem is that you need the seatbelt.kext that corresponds to the voodoo kernel! i think you need the seatbelt.kext from 10.5.5 and your dmg's will mount fine!
