But I want to run Windows Xp within OSX86 with OpenOSX and I want to natively boot Windows XP (the same install as in OpenOSX). Is this possible and how? Do I need extra drivers etc etc? Thanks! labria Posted May 20, 2006 Share Posted May 20, 2006 I dont think OpenOSX has the ability to boot real partitions. And there's the drivers problem - you system will have to live with two sets - the native one and the virtual one. XP can crash when changing hardware, not sure it will work that way. And also, you should consired Parralels, it quite powerful and popular nowadays... PS: Do you happen to have sound in working? PPS: Could you shorten your Sig? Or make it more compact? It's really too big, imo.
