caute
Hello! I've just installed JaS 10.4.6 on an secondary harddrive. The installation went fine and I checked the appropriate additions ("10.4.6 Combo update", "INTEL SSE3", "GMA900 Support"). When the installation finished and the system rebooted I got a black screen, like a prompt or something. Tried reinstalling, same problem. My hardware should check out just fine. Component listing: Intel Pentium 4 3.4ghz 640 915GP, IHC6, GMA900 1GB RAM 1xS-ATA (main drive, running 10.4.3) 1xATA (secondary drive, where I would like to try out 10.4.6) I tried to install the JaS DVD on my DELL Optiplex gx280, where I got to the loading screen and then panic. Both these computers has got "valid" hardware. What might be the problem? Somone at IRC in this forums offical channel (#OSx86) told me to patch the DVD with "MacOSX_10.4.4DVD_PPF4.rar". I downloaded that file, but when I tried to patch the ISO, I get error. Thanks in advance! //K Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/17518-help-jas-1046-installation/ Share on other sites
