Igman
I am trying really hard to get my osx86 to boot, but i have one huge problem i need to overcome -> i need to delete the ati*.kext files, but i cannot. I countinually have the debugger error, but i beleive it is due to my ati video card. In trying to delete the required files i have tried: -mounting the HFS partition in my suse 9.3 os -loading an ubuntu live cd and mounting it thier -booting the image in vmware in -s mode and trying to delete the files within the image In all of these situations i have gotten an error that he file system is read-only, and i cannot delete the required files. I would really appreciate it if someone can give me any help, thank you. Igman
I was able to delete the ati files, but i still get the debugger error, it seems to be caused by the error nfs_boot_init failed with 6, any ideas? typera
Ingman, how did you work around the readonly problem? I am in a similar situation with keyboard not detected (and cant use other keyboard) so need to mount the partition under linux. Tried using Ubantu live CD and it wont mount it r/w for the life of me.
