It seems not to be a good solution. I changed from my current Native IDE mode to AHCI mode (also Legacy IDE & RAID mode) but it didn't work for me. I followed the installation instructions very carefully but still got failed.

Here is some details of my case for each way of installation (if it is helpful for you to give me some ideas):

When I tried to install from the retail 10.5.6 DVD and Kalyway 10.5.2, the Darwin bootloader (after loading and showing some information) stopped at "Still waiting for root device", still and still....

With the Zephyroth's 10.5.2, it stopped at "NTFS version 3..." or something like that and then hung up.

The leopard-x86-flat-img was not better. After I made sure there was no extended partition and used dd for windows to make a raw copy to a prepared primary partition and successfully added chain0 to my vista bootloader, I rebooted the PC. However, the Darwin only run to "Starting Darwin/x86" and then automatically rebooted even if I tried many boot options such as: -v, -x, -f, -s, platform=X86PC (or APCI), ...

At last, I only want to know that if my PC is able to run Leopard, so where is the way to pass me through the installation?

Thanks for advance.
