Hey,

After three tries with different combinations of drivers, I finally managed to get OS X running as a secondary operating system on my PC, using iPC 10.5.6. Once I got into it and got everything working perfectly, I went to install the iPhone 3.0 SDK, as that was my main motivation for doing OSx86 in the first place. I get the dreaded notification that the iPhone SDK now only runs on 10.5.7.

I performed a full backup via Time Machine, and then downloaded and installed the iDeneb Combo Upgrade Kit for 10.5.7. After rebooting, my computer wouldn't load OSx86. I get an error saying that the system can't find "com.apple.boot.plist". I booted from my iPC disc and restored my Time Machine backup, but the error remains. Is there any way to circumvent this so I don't have to lose my OSx86 installation, or is it already too far gone if I'm getting this error?

Thanks,

- Phil

I'm confused ... I have OSx86 Tools, but how do I access my defunct installation using the DVD? And can I install the bootloader for the Mac partition only (so it DOESN'T overwrite the system bootloader)?
